The concept of Culinary Photography has been assimilated once with the introduction in 1936 of the first Michelin Guide of Fine Dining. From this moment, the gastronomy manages to express themselves through photography. In time this discipline has evolved, assimilating scientific concepts and the principles of exact sciences. Culinary Photography is a type of photography which is addressed to culinary aesthetics. It is a specialization of Culinary Arts. Today, this type of photography is associated as a form of fine art. It is noted that at this moment, the culinary photography uses the concepts of cognitive psychology, non-verbal languages and principles of physics.
