The idea for this film was based on the late Terrence McKenna's suggestion that the fascination some have for exterestial beings is a projection of a primarily religious impulse towards yearning for the existance of benevolent forces, or beings, beyond the earthly realm. From there I try to explore what in Chaos theory is called the self organizing principle, meaning that tendency of inanimate elements to combine and form, at least apparently, the semblence of life. This happens from neuronal firing in the brain to the motion of galaxies. One could go so far as to suggest the universe is a single living being and we ourselves are the equivalent of not even molocules, but sub atomic elements, Other then that, in mythological terms, the piece is fairly conventional, eg: the inanimate becomes animate and with animation comes reaponsibility, which is primarily negative. Which is to say God allows us to live and the price is not to do something, but rather to refrain from doing something. The song is performed by ALF (Alien Life Form)
